“Babies don’t
come with
instructions…”

… Actually, yes they do - we just need to learn how to read them!

Parent-and-Me Class

"We Need This."
—Parent in Parent-Infant Guidance™

Parent-Infant Guidance™

Parenting can feel overwhelming when you're trying to interpret every cry, movement, and new behavior. These classes give you a place to slow down, observe, and build confidence alongside other families.

In these weekly 90-minute in-person classes, parents observe, reflect, and engage with their child in a supportive, respectful environment while learning together about how to apply the Educaring® Approach, guided by the facilitating RIE® Associate.

These classes are designed for families with children aged 3 months to 2 years. Classes are cohorted by age to ensure that each child is in an environment with peers at a similar stage of development, which supports meaningful observation, learning, and social interaction.

See the Experience for Yourself

“I highly recommend this [RIE® Parent-Infant Guidance™] class. We attend with our 19mo and he loves coming. He comes home more curious, courageous and confident. We get to witness more of his rapidly emerging capabilities and personality because we are practicing not interfering in his learning experiences. It’s a super great space for kids and any of their caregivers.”

-Camilia, Parent

“Talisa is a wonderful listener who thoughtfully assesses your particular situation and provides great insights and methods for nurturing children. She’ll work with you as a collaborator. Her gentle and calm spirit make her easy to work with, and I felt very lucky to have her insights as I was in the beginning stages of raising twin boys!”

-Negar, Parent

“Seeking Talisa’s advice about parenting is the best thing I could have done for my family. Sometimes with parenting, it can seem accidental - it’s easy to freak out over antisocial behavior that our toddlers will inevitably exhibit. Talisa is patient, understanding, kind, and meets you where you are at. She will guide you through parenting with zero judgment. Not only is Talisa experienced and educated in the field of early childhood education, but her patience and passion for the field instills you with a sense of confidence and belief that you can do anything. She is a true master when it comes to childhood psychology!”

-Diane, Parent

“We worked with Talisa to help our little one sleep better at nights. We were feeling anxious about it coming in. We had done lots of research and had encountered many competing ideas - but working with Talisa really helped us get a better understanding of the space and helped us to develop a framework for viewing sleep as a capacity to be nurtured and developed rather than an endpoint to be achieved. For us this was instrumental in developing strategies for helping our son learn how to sleep on his own and tackle it in a way where we weren’t merely following a recipe but were active participants in the process.”

-James and Shiva, Parents

Hi! I’m Talisa.

One of the first questions I ask every family is:

"What are your goals for your child?"

Because there isn't one "right" way to parent.

My role is to help you understand child development so you can move toward your own goals with confidence and respect for your child.

As an Infant/Toddler Development Specialist and RIE® Associate, I founded Parenting Resources so that every family has access to support, and every child has the best possible start to life.
